Stay tuned for more details, including an exciting agenda and speaker lineup for our upcoming Software Testing Day -4th Edition, Egypt 2026 - a premier event that brings together local, international experts, and professionals from across the industry to share insights, best practices, and the latest trends in software testing.
This year's event will focus on the theme of " Shaping the Future of Intelligent Testing in the age of AI". The event is held by ITIDA -SECC as part of it's continuous efforts to support the software industry in Egypt.
We invite industry experts to submit talk proposals, and software companies to propose tools demos, showcasing advancements and addressing key challenges in software testing.
Topics of Interest
We welcome submissions across all areas of software testing, with particular interest in:
Using generative AI in testing for:
Test analysis and design: Identifying defects in test basis, suggesting optimal test techniques, generating and prioritizing test conditions/test cases based on test basis, generating test data, etc.
Test execution scheduling and prioritization: Analyzing test cases and their dependencies to optimize the test execution schedule based on different factors such as code changes, etc.
Automated reporting and insights: Automated generation of test reports, defect reports, predictive analysis on potential failures, root cause analysis based on test logs and defect reports, etc.
Test monitoring and control: Providing alert about deviation from plan, analysis of trends to predict potential risks, suggesting control actions such as reprioritizing the test cases and adjusting the schedule, etc.
Risk-based testing: propose a risk-based testing strategy that recommends specific test techniques, test types and test levels based on the analysis of the requirements, source code and other work products.
Automated testing: Automated test script generation, self-healing and adaptive testing.
Performance testing: Generating tests and test data, predicting potential failure points, root cause analysis, etc.
Security testing: Analysis of test basis, reviewing source code for insecure patterns, suggesting security testing techniques, etc.
Agentic AI in testing lifecycle: for enhancing the different testing activities mentioned above by acting as goal-driven and autonomous assistants.
Testing AI-based systems: Challenges, opportunities, tools and techniques for testing AI-based systems.
Continuous quality engineering in DevOps:
Strategies for integrating testing into Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
Metrics, tools, and best practices for continuous testing.
Implementing DevSecOps practices.
